DESCRIPTION:Everyone Believes Something\nWe all believe something even if we don’t think about it that much. The Bridge is a chance to explore what true Christianity is all about. It’s a chance to interact\, ask questions and share your point of view without any pressure. \nThe Bridge Course is a 8 week introduction to Christianity which is designed to encourage conversation and interaction in a non-pressured\, “questions are welcome” environment.  The Bridge provides a place where you can share what you believe or just sit back and listen. No one will ever call on you. It’s a comfortable environment where you can find answers to some of life’s biggest questions\, enjoy community with others and find meaning in life. To help you on this journey\, each in-person session is split up into three parts. \nA. A talk – The talks are designed to raise important questions and inspire conversation. Generally thirty minutes long\, they seek to answer important questions about life and God such as: \n-What will really satisfy?\n-Why does God allow suffering?\n-Is Jesus the only way?\n-Can we trust the Bible?\n-Is Christianity really worth it? \nB. A discussion – The discussion is probably the most important part of the Bridge. It’s a chance to interact\, the talk and share your perspective in a friendly environment. You can ask whatever question you like or not say a word. DESCRIPTION:Everyone Believes Something\nWe all believe something even if we don’t think about it that much. The Bridge is a chance to explore what true Christianity is all about. It’s a chance to interact\, ask questions and share your point of view without any pressure. \nThe Bridge Course is a 8 week introduction to Christianity which is designed to encourage conversation and interaction in a non-pressured\, “questions are welcome” environment.  The Bridge provides a place where you can share what you believe or just sit back and listen. No one will ever call on you. It’s a comfortable environment where you can find answers to some of life’s biggest questions\, enjoy community with others and find meaning in life. To help you on this journey\, each in-person session is split up into three parts. \nA. A talk – The talks are designed to raise important questions and inspire conversation. Generally thirty minutes long\, they seek to answer important questions about life and God such as: \n-What will really satisfy?\n-Why does God allow suffering?\n-Is Jesus the only way?\n-Can we trust the Bible?\n-Is Christianity really worth it? \nB. A discussion – The discussion is probably the most important part of the Bridge. It’s a chance to interact\, the talk and share your perspective in a friendly environment. You can ask whatever question you like or not say a word. DESCRIPTION:Jr. High students are welcome to join our Sunday morning Catechism class. This year they will be working through “The New City Catechism”. \n“Catechism” is a summary of Christian principles\, beliefs and theological understandings that are unpacked in question and answer form. Although typically associated with the Catholic church\, it’s been a historically foundational tool used in Protestant churches for hundreds of years! \nWe are so excited to have Carolyn Hicks lead our junior high students through critical truths about our understanding of God\, his work and his Word. \nStudents will start the service in the worship centre with their families and then be dismissed after worship ends. Carolyn will be out in the lobby to meet them and direct them upstairs where they’ll meet for the rest of the service! No need to register or sign in\, students can just head right up after worship.
