There are kids in our community who need help to have a great start to their school year and you could be part of that help.
Our Awana Commander Carolyn Hicks is working with the office of the mayor on a special project to help underprivileged children get school supplies. The supplies are ready to go and we are looking for volunteers to help pack them into school backpacks. We are expecting to pack 8,000 backpacks in one week at 7 George Street and are looking for your help.
Dates: Monday, August 12 to Friday, August 16.
Time: 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
The time is broken up into two-hour time slots and you can sign up for as many slots as you want.
Questions can be directed to commander@harvestbible.ca.
Thank you for your support!
