A Global Church Born from Persecution, Sustained by Faith
Our Beginning
In 2015, Harvest Bible Chapel Global South Asian Church was born in the heart of Bangkok, Thailand, within a small apartment building where persecuted Christian families from Pakistan had found refuge.
Living as undocumented migrants, these families faced constant fear of arrest and detention by Thai authorities. Confined to their apartments and unable to attend public worship, many had lost access to Christian fellowship and community.
In God’s providence, this humble house church became their sanctuary. Six days a week, from Monday to Saturday, believers gathered for worship, encouragement, and to strengthen their faith in Jesus Christ amid profound hardship and uncertainty. What began as a necessity born from persecution became a beacon of hope for displaced families seeking both physical refuge and spiritual community.
Our Purpose
We exist to be daily encouragement for persecuted believers
- A sanctuary for worship when public gatherings put families at risk
- A source of daily hope in the face of fear and uncertainty
- A spiritual family where faith in Jesus is nurtured and sustained through hardship
Our Growth
In March 2020, as the pandemic swept the world, there were many more persecuted Christians longing to join the church. What seemed like a setback became a divine setup. God heard and answered the prayers of his people. The in-person gatherings moved online via Zoom, opening the door for many more persecuted Christians to join the church without fear of arrest.

What began as a small, local mission has grown into a global ministry, uniting South Asian believers across Pakistan, India, Canada, the UAE, Australia, and beyond for worship, fellowship and spiritual growth.

Our mission is to bear one another’s burdens and fulfill the law of Christ.
We serve persecuted believers through:
- Medical clinics
- Monthly food bags for families in need
- Housing assistance and emergency support
- Care for refugees detained in Thailand’s Immigration Detention Centers
- Meeting countless other urgent needs as they arise
