Kids’ Ministries
Our desire is to lay a strong biblical and Christ-centred foundation in the lives of our children. We want to see each child climbing to greater heights in their relationship with Christ, becoming life-long followers of Jesus. We offer the following children’s programs (Harvest Kids and Child Dedications are offered at all campuses, Awana, Moms & Tots and High Five day camp are open to all campuses but are located in Barrie):
Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.

Harvest Youth
Harvest Youth is a ministry for students in grade 6-12 from all campuses and meets on Tuesday nights at 7 George Street, Barrie.
Come for a time of worship, teaching from God’s Word, fun games, and fellowship with other students your age and small group leaders who are excited to get to know you!

Harvest Young Adults
HYA helps connect people from all campuses in the stages of life between high school graduation and starting their career, marriage, family. Roughly speaking this all happens between 18-30. Our schedule changes seasonally so follow us @hyabarrie on Instagram or Facebook for our latest ideas and plans. Contact Jimmy Fullenwider for more information about serving or supporting HYA as we grow. We look forward to meeting you.
Harvest Young Adults meet for a FREE lunch once a month on a Sunday after the 11 a.m. service in Barrie. This is a great opportunity to meet others your age, play games, eat free food and find out about other events our HYA are doing. Open to all campuses. Meeting at 7 George Street, Barrie.
Congregational Care
Congregational care is the care and counselling ministry of Harvest Bible Chapel. We want to restore your hope and dignity in difficult situations and support your growth and healing in all areas of your life.
Gospel-centred counselling involves one-on-one conversations designed to re-orient our thinking along the truths of the Bible by exploring the habits and experiences that have shaped how we think and act. Whether it’s a life stage, transition, trial or relationship, sometimes our circumstances can seem overwhelming. We want to come alongside you with practical help, tools and strategies that will keep you focused on God and becoming more Christ-like.
Congregational care is not just a ministry of Harvest, it’s part of who we are. Aside from more formal settings with trained gospel-centred counsellors, it happens whenever we listen with humility and curiosity, offer care and support and apply biblical wisdom and knowledge to people’s situations. Our desire is to help carry your burdens (Galatians 6:1-2; James 1:2-5), in whatever way is most comfortable for you, whether that’s connecting with a trusted friend, mentoring, one of our Hope Groups or meeting with a counsellor.
If you want to build skills in walking alongside others in this way, in your friendships or as a group leader, we have many training opportunities to help you build skills to care well for others.
Ministry Partnerships
The mandate of the church and each believer is to make disciples (Matthew 28:19-20; Acts 1:8). Primarily that works out as we each share the good news of Jesus Christ with boldness. In order to have some “reach” that extends beyond Barrie and Simcoe County in the fulfillment of this mandate, Harvest forms partnerships with individuals and ministries that are getting the job done.
Here are the principles we follow in determining which partnerships we form:
We take partnership seriously! Jesus gave the local church a mandate to make disciples (Matthew 28:19-20; Acts 1:8) and to do so cooperatively with other local churches. Today, we take advantage of likeminded agencies and networks in order to accomplish this Kingdom work in Barrie, Simcoe Country, Canada, and around the world. In establishing partnerships, we look for those who share our passion to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ and who are committed to church planting and/or ministry emphases that contribute to church planting such as compassion and justice missions and those dedicated to gospel teaching and training.
