BEN SYBRING
TreasurerBen Sybring is a Chartered Professional Accountant who spent most of his career as CFO in the healthcare industry. Over his career he has also served as treasurer or member of the board of various charitable and not for profit agencies as well as churches.
He and his wife, Mary, spent most of their lives in Aurora where they raised two girls who are now both married and are blessed with two grandchildren. He has also been a Big Brother for more than 10 years. Ben and Mary moved to Alliston in 2019 and began attending Harvest Barrie in 2021.
Ben committed his life to Christ after a service at the Peoples Church as a teenager. He was actively involved in churches in both Aurora and King City while raising his family with Mary. However, dissatisfaction with church life ultimately lead to a renewal stirred by the Spirit, Word of God and the encouragement of a group of men at Harvest Markham ten years ago.
As a CPA (with Dutch parents), verses dealing with finance have become a foundation in his life.
