He Who Has Ears To Hear, Let Him Hear – Part 1
Think you’re a good listener? It’s said that the average person only retains 50% of any conversation, and that’s immediately after the conversation took place! People are often distracted, forgetful, or preoccupied. Some of you are doing it right now, as you’re reading this sermon preview. Your mind is somewhere else completely.
Over the next couple of weeks, we will study a handful of parables from Mark 4 that Jesus taught the crowds and his disciples. In this week’s text in verses 1-20, Jesus gave various instructions to his listeners to pay attention. If Jesus says it’s important to listen, then we better do just that, right?
Join us this Sunday as we look at the Parable of the Sower, where we will see how the full effect of the gospel can completely transform people’s lives.
