Unapologetic Preaching

This Sunday is the fifth Sunday of June, so we will begin our “Fifth Sunday” sermon series on the 4 Pillars of Harvest. This week we will be looking at Unapologetic Preaching.

If you value the Word, then you will also value solid, biblical preaching. Though preaching might seem foolish to the world, it is one of the main means through which God brings people to hear the gospel and come to faith in Jesus Christ. Unfortunately, it only takes one quick online search to see how many so-called “preachers” and “churches” have distorted and compromised the truth of the Word. If we’re going to make any real impact for God, we need to remain faithful to the Word, and we need to be a church that preaches it faithfully and without apology! And why wouldn’t we, when the Word of God informs all aspects of our faith and life?

Join us on Sunday as we open the Word together and explore this first pillar, based on 2 Timothy 4:2. We look forward to seeing you on Sunday at 4 p.m. at 7810 ON-89 in Alliston.
