As their name indicates, the Barrie Food Bank’s primary objective is to ensure that families in our city have enough to eat. Financial and tangible donations allow them to serve the community in this way, but they also recognize that those who come for food assistance may need physical, emotional, social, and/or spiritual support. For this reason, the Barrie Food bank collaborates with community organizations to provide relevant resources, always offering compassion and respect while encouraging self-sufficiency.
