Trust In The Lord With All Your Heart

Confidence can be a powerful thing. It can give you the courage to take the right steps, but if you’re not careful, it can also put you at great risk. The issue isn’t confidence itself; it’s what you choose to place your confidence in. We can be certain of this: we will never go wrong by placing our confidence in the Lord. Too often, instead of trusting Christ, we trust ourselves or in things far less dependable than he is. But when we fully place our trust in the Lord, we don’t have to be anxious or fear anything, because Jesus never leads us astray and he never fails.

That’s why, as we look at two well-known verses in Proverbs 3:5–6, we’ll discover just how important and valuable it is for us to trust in the Lord. And while trusting him doesn’t mean that life will be suddenly easy, we can be assured that we will never be left disappointed, since he is faithful and worthy of our wholehearted trust.
