I Believe; Help My Unbelief
As we look at Mark 9:14-29 this Sunday, we’ll see how this whole passage centres around our faith in Jesus. The two standout statements in this text are, first, what Jesus says in verse 23: “All things are possible for one who believes,” followed by the imperative response of a man whose son is possessed by a demon: “I believe; help my unbelief!”
This is the cry of a desperate man, and of a desperate father who comes to recognize and acknowledge that there is no one greater, more powerful, or more compassionate than Jesus. Therefore, there is no one he needs more than Jesus! We may not ever face a crisis like he did, but each of us must grasp our own need for Jesus.
Join us this Sunday as we jump back into our series through the Gospel of Mark and consider our faith in Jesus.

…overcome doubt (v. 23-24)
No movement in the last 100 years has done more damage to the body of Christ globally than the Word of Faith and prosperity theology.
