I Have Compassion On The Crowd
Someone once said that if you want to know how much you’ll be missed when you are gone, simply put your finger in a bucket of water and then remove it. The hole that’s left will show you just how much you’ll be missed. If you’re wondering, the answer is: not much. It’s one of the harsh realities of life that, a hundred years from now, most of us will be completely forgotten. Yet, here we are today, over two thousand years after Christ died, rose again, and ascended to heaven and we still talk about him, his life, his teachings, and his ministry. There are many other people in history that are remembered as well, but everyone agrees, whether they are Christian or not, none of them made an impact like Jesus did. He is by far the most influential person ever in the history of the world. There’s simply no comparison to be made. We’re going to see why that is in our text through Mark 8:1-10 this week. So, join us this Sunday as we are shown the true heart of Jesus through yet another incredible miracle; the feeding of the four thousand.

Today alone, there are over 8.2 billion people on the earth, alive, right now. India and China’s population is well over 1.4 billion each, USA is 3rd with 350 million people, and Canada sits all the way at #38 in population with just under 40 million people.
There is no one like Jesus, he…
…cares sincerely (v. 1-3)
…provides miraculously (v. 4-7)
Matthew 6:30
God’s grace and mercy last through all your necessities, and you shall never know a real lack.
Charles H. Spurgeon
…satisfies completely (v. 8-10)
Psalm 113:5-7
