You Are a Gracious God and Merciful
When you’re captivated by something, it’s hard to look away or even think about anything else. Sadly, we often allow our hearts to be pulled toward the distractions of this world instead of being drawn to God. Until we fix ourselves on God rather than ourselves, we can’t see life clearly, through God’s holy viewpoint.
When we truly delight in God, everything changes: our desires, our priorities, and our purpose. A heart captivated by him lives for him, in awe of his mercy and even welcoming his correction, knowing we need him and that nothing else can satisfy us except for Jesus.
